LE GRAND SIECLE

Commitment to the French Heritage and Tradition

PANORAMIC WALLPAPERS

DECORATIVE WALLPAPERS

From 1770 onward, France experienced extraordinary flourishing in the production of wallpapers, eclipsing those of England, who until then dominated the world market.

Le Grand Siècle brings to life the panoramic wallpapers and wallpaper patterns of the 18th and 19th centuries garnered from collections in the Musée Des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, the Bibliothèque Nationale de France and the Centre des Monuments Nationaux. Gaining access to the vaults of the wallpaper collections,  allows for intensive and detailed research work in the selection and restoration of these styles of high decoration, and demonstrates the commitment of the brand to breathing new life into French decorative arts.

The collection is printed exclusively in France by a master printer in Normandy.  Each design is developed through a rigorous process; from the testing for perfect color and texture, to the printing of made-to-measure hand rolled prints.

We proudly represent Le Grand Siècle in select territories across the USA.
